Soul Foundation

Project overview

During the course of the Covid pandemic, Graham donated more than £600,000 plus warehouse space and expertise to the SOUL Foundation.

The SOUL Foundation social supermarket is a purpose-built facility on site at SOUL Church in Norwich and is a membership-based community shop for those who need a little extra help, hosting a range of fresh produce, long-life essentials and household products at a fraction of the usual cost.

During the pandemic, the work of the Foundation grew to delivering food to those in need.
Hannah Lipton, Soul Foundation Operations Manager explains:
“At the beginning of the pandemic our immediate response was to help provide food for those in need that we were aware of and already supporting. This very quickly grew and the Lind Trust were pivotal in making this happen through their generous provision of warehouse space, knowledge and advice. Together we were delivering to 1100 homes weekly and supplied 4 million meals over the 2 years. We are so thankful for all the Lind Trust’s support in making this happen and could not have done it without their generosity.”
