Soul Church

Project overview

Graham provided strategic funding for the building of a new church and community hub

SOUL Church Norwich is a vibrant and contemporary church which, since its launch in 2014, has been residing at Mason Road, Norwich.  It has also been the home to Soul Foundation's, Social Supermarket, which was also supported by Graham during the Covid pandemic. As well as many mid-week activities and events for all age groups, SOUL Church has been holding three Sunday services.  The weekly attendance continues to grow week on week, with the average weekly attendance now being around 1,500 across its three services each Sunday. Graham's funding supported the building of a 1,250-seat auditorium, a 110-place-purpose-built nursery, the new social supermarket currently serving over 3,000 people, a cafe and soft play area, sensory room, changing places toilet and more. Pastor Jon Norman, Soul Church: "This is a place anyone can call home. We want this to be a beacon of hope for the lonely and those in need. We have plans to increase our help and support to those in the local area, with more capacity within our supermarket, job clubs, money and parenting classes, community groups and more."
